Notting Hill

Famous for its Carnival, which took to the streets in 1965 and has grown to become the biggest street carnival outside Rio de Janeiro, Notting Hill is also extremely sought after because of its diversity of property types – from modern new-build apartments, to flats in converted Victorian buildings and grand large houses.

In the 1980s with the beginning of the business boom in the city; single-occupation houses began to become popular and many houses were converted back to the now familiar stucco-fronted pillar-porched fronts with private and communal gardens.
